Aims of the Association of Cairngorms Communities

To promote and represent the shared interests of communities in and around the Cairngorms National Park for the benefit of the public by:

• providing a forum for sharing information, experience and networking;
• identifying shared issues and encouraging appropriate action;
• providing communication between the Cairngorms National Park and other relevant organisations to support exchange of views and information

Making suggestions for Core Paths


• assisting the Cairngorms National Park Authority to engage with communities and to meet all its statutory obligations

• providing support to the membership –especially where common needs or themes are identified
